Broken Beach in Nusa Penida

About Broken Beach

Broken Beach, locally known as Pasih Uug, is one of the most unusual coastal formations on Nusa Penida. A giant limestone arch opens into a circular cove below, creating the impression of an inland pool that is still connected to the sea through the rock tunnel.

Most guests visit for the elevated ocean views, the clean shape of the arch, and the way the water changes colour depending on the light and tide. Because it sits so close to Angel's Billabong, the two stops are often paired together and make a very strong west-coast sightseeing section.

This picturesque formation is part of our West Tour and Combination Tour itineraries.
