Angel's Billabong is a natural rock lagoon on the west coast of Nusa Penida, shaped by years of wave movement and carved directly into the limestone shoreline. At the right tide, the water inside the pool looks clear and glassy, while the surrounding cliffs and ocean edge create one of the island's most dramatic coastal scenes.
This stop is best known for its unusual combination of rugged rock texture, turquoise water, and constantly changing sea conditions. Some visitors come mainly for photos from the edge, while others pair the viewpoint with nearby Broken Beach to make the west coast drive feel more complete and worthwhile.
This attraction sits next to Broken Beach and is included in our West Tour and Combination Tour itineraries.
To experience Angel's Billabong with ease, stay at Mahaloka Valley and join our West Tour or Combination Tour. That gives you a practical way to visit this west coast highlight together with nearby viewpoints without having to organise separate transport and timing on your own.
